The ground conditions showed that the site comprised loose sand over clay, which meant that a piled foundation was required. Access to the site was limited so All Foundations use their restricted access rig, XXXXX for the works.

Value of Foundations: £70,000.
Duration of Works: 6-8 weeks.
Scope of Works: 5 x piled bases for 40m high floodlights.
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club went one step further to ensure an enhanced visitor experience at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. To allow play to carry on into the evening, the club installed floodlights at the ground. This makes Trent Bridge the only cricket ground in the country with permanent floodlights.

Redhill Marina.
Piled foundations for new build.
Client: Scott Rimmer (private client).

Value of Foundations: £28,000.
Scope of Project: 14 No. 220mm diameter steel cased driven piles, 73m reinforced concrete.
Redhill Marina is situated adjacent to the River Soar in the shadow of the Radcliffe on Soar power station near Nottingham. It is an area that suffers from frequent flooding and therefore any housing development must have adequate foundations to support structures when the area floods.

Restricted access piling to platform.

Value of Foundations: £155,000.00.
Scope of Works: 42 No. 350mm diameter hollow stem mini-piles, 120 No. 350mm diameter CFA piles.
The station is one of the most heavily used on the Merseyrail network and sees 1.5m passengers per year pass through the station with 26 trains per hour passing through at peak times. It is also a key station for travelling football supporters of both Liverpool and Everton footballs clubs.
