Mini Piling
For sites where access is restricted, All Foundations offers a range of mini piling rigs including bottom driven, top driven, open augered and rotary percussive (Odex).Our restricted access rigs are compact and easy to manoeuvre, offering the same quality of foundations as with open sites. Piling rigs have the capacity to work within 1.0m width access and 2.4m headroom constraints.
Mini piling rigs can also be utilised for basement construction and underpinning as well as larger sites with restricted access.
Our mini piling rigs can cope with any ground conditions and can be used to pile from within a development. We offer mini piling from 100mm diameter to 600mm diameter* and up to 1000kN capacity*.
*dependent upon the type of mini piling installation.
We also provide the associated reinforced concrete works for our mini piled foundations.

The ground conditions showed that the site comprised loose sand over clay, which meant that a piled foundation was required. Access to the site was limited so All Foundations use their restricted access rig, XXXXX for the works.

Scope of Works: 5 x piled bases for 40m high floodlights.
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club went one step further to ensure an enhanced visitor experience at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. To allow play to carry on into the evening, the club installed floodlights at the ground. This makes Trent Bridge the only cricket ground in the country with permanent floodlights.

Scope of Project: 14 No. 220mm diameter steel cased driven piles, 73m reinforced concrete.
Redhill Marina is situated adjacent to the River Soar in the shadow of the Radcliffe on Soar power station near Nottingham. It is an area that suffers from frequent flooding and therefore any housing development must have adequate foundations to support structures when the area floods.

The station is one of the most heavily used on the Merseyrail network and sees 1.5m passengers per year pass through the station with 26 trains per hour passing through at peak times. It is also a key station for travelling football supporters of both Liverpool and Everton footballs clubs.
