Basement Construction

The construction of basements beneath new buildings, and below and beside existing buildings, has increased in popularity in recent years due to the rise in land prices and stricter planning requirements, particularly in conservation areas. A basement extension can substantially enhance a properties value and desirability, by creating additional living space at the correct level in the property.

All Foundations offer the full range of basement construction techniques necessary to design and form a basement economically in any situation from conceptual layouts to the finished structural product.

A basement construction project will draw upon elements from almost all areas of our expertise.

Utilising traditional methods, underpinning, piling, reinforced concrete, full temporary works design and installation, we are able to get you out of the ground, and above the ground if you require, with the minimum of fuss.

All of the methods that we employ comply with the requirements of Party Wall Surveyors and Local Authorities.

Examples of basement construction contracts:

St Petersburgh Mews.
