The contract, with Allied Steel Frame Structures Ltd involved the installation of foundations and a floor slab for the building. Printing machine bases were also a requirement and needed to be to
specialist tolerances and finishes.
The new portal building, developed on their existing site, included the design and provision of a steel frames building, cladding, 2.5m high brickwork to the perimeter, drainage, car parking and a brickwork boundary wall.
There was a strict deadline as Alderson printers were expecting to take delivery of 2 new 2.5-3.0 Tonne printing machines so all the works needed to be completed on time.
This is one of a number of contracts where All Foundations and Allied Steel Frame Structures have worked together in order to provide a seamless contract from design to completion.
