All Foundations were asked to construct a basement extension to the A.E.E.U. Headquarters in Esher, Surrey. The works would provide a sports hall and gym for the building.

The A.E.E.U. required a basement to be construction for use as a sports hall and gym. The building itself is a grade II listed building so extra care had to be taken when undertaking the works.
The Works
All Foundations provided a 1200m
2, 3m deep basement extension, which included continuous piled walls to each 50m flank walls and traditional underpinning to each gable wall.
The basement was excavated and new ground floor support steels installed prior to the construction of a reinforced concrete floor slab.
